The Galena Historic Foundation invites the community to its annual Cornbread & Beans Dinner at the Village Hall. Bring the family, share a hot meal with neighbors, and support the work of preserving Galena’s history.
The Museum will be open during the dinner. Please stop by.

The group meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7pm in the Village Hall. We encourage any lover of history and Galena to come and join the organization.
The Historical Foundation also participates in several events throughout the year including the Galena Fall Gathering and the Christmas Tree Lighting Festivities.
The museum is in the top floor of the Village Hall and is open to the public on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The museum is not open during the months of January and February.
